TOKYO, September 26, 2025 – Funai Soken Holdings Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and Group CEO: Takayuki Nakatani)
announced today the establishment of a new subsidiary, "Funai Consulting India Private Limited," in Bengaluru, India.
The new entity will be positioned as a Global Capability Center (GCC),
tasked with accelerating the Funai Soken Group's overall Digital Transformation (DX) and strengthening support for Japanese companies' business operations in India.
Background and Purpose
India, with one of the world's largest populations and remarkable recent economic growth, is attracting significant attention
from many Japanese companies as the "world's factory".
In recent years, numerous global companies have established GCCs in India as strategic hubs for IT services, engineering, and back-office operations.
Amidst this market environment, Funai Soken Group has decided to establish a local subsidiary in India with GCC functions.
This move is part of the Group's growth strategy to "strengthen overseas business" and accelerate group-wide DX.
